On July 10, 1966, Tsuburaya Productions introduced Japanese television audiences to Shin Hayata, the Science Special Search-Party, and a silver-and-red giant from Nebula M78. Sixty years later, the Ultraman 60th Anniversary 1966-2026 Tumbler Cup brings that foundational Showa tokusatsu era into a daily insulated drinkware vessel. Rather than relying on a single minimalist emblem, the wrap composes a multi-character tribute across brushed silver and deep crimson stainless steel, placing the original hero in his crossed-arm Specium Ray stance directly at the center of the cylinder.
Six Decades of Showa Tokusatsu Heritage: From the SSSP to the Specium Ray
Every zone of the exterior graphic references a specific touchstone from the 1966 broadcast run. Beneath the arched red-and-silver title header, Ultraman’s glowing yellow compound eyes and blue chest Color Timer anchor the upper metallic field as golden beam sparks radiate from his right forearm. To his left, the red-and-silver Jet VTOL patrol craft banks above the fray, while the stepped facade of the Science Special Search-Party building rises on the right with bold red SSSP lettering and the craggy silhouette of Red King looming behind the roofline. Three illuminated blue Beta Capsules float across the composition, recalling the split-second flash that summoned the hero into battle.

Where the upper silver field transitions into the deep crimson lower half, metallic gold typography marks the 60TH ANNIVERSARY 1966 – 2026 milestone. Flanking those numerals are the two most recognizable adversaries from the original 39-episode series: the cicada-like Space Ninja Alien Baltan raising its oversized blue pincer claws on the left, and the twin-horned Space Dinosaur Zetton standing guard in black, silver, and amber armor on the lower right. A coordinating navy-and-red collector presentation box mirrors the full illustration along with a city skyline silhouette and a side Color Timer graphic for shelf display.
Thermal Insulation Built for Commutes and Collector Desks
Behind the retro kaiju illustration sits a heavy-duty 18/8 pro-grade stainless steel body engineered for everyday temperature control. The double-wall vacuum barrier locks out ambient heat so iced water remains frozen for up to 48 hours, chilled beverages stay crisp for 24 hours, and morning coffee holds its warmth for 8 hours without forming condensation rings on wooden desks or display shelves. The BPA-free rust-resistant interior keeps flavors clean between refills.
Topping the vessel, a translucent ruby-red FlowState 3-position screw-on lid pairs a rotating cover with a clear reusable straw, letting you alternate between smooth straw hydration, open-sip drinking, and a splash-resistant closed position for travel. Available in 30oz or 40oz variant sizing, the cylinder steps down into a narrow brushed-steel base cuff that drops cleanly into standard car cup holders. To keep the printed 1966-2026 kaiju artwork crisp over years of use, wash the stainless steel tumbler body by hand while placing the translucent red lid and straw on the top rack of the dishwasher.
