Dachshund Festive Dog Christmas Advent Calendar

Long bodies, low profiles, and unmistakable floppy ears give wiener dogs a permanent place in family holiday traditions, and the Dachshund Festive Dog Christmas Advent Calendar brings that affectionate personality into the December countdown. Housed in a deep crimson-red rigid paperboard collector box with a custom full-wrap print, the front cover illustrates a smooth-coat black-and-tan Dachshund dressed in a crimson cable-knit turtleneck sweater with a collar bow. Seated on a cream rug before a glowing fireplace and plaid-wrapped gifts, the pup rests beside a Christmas tree hung with miniature dog-bone ornaments beneath an illuminated pine-and-holly wreath framing the cream-and-red Dachshund Advent Calendar title.

Behind the 24 individually numbered daily compartments, pet owners uncover 24 three-dimensional miniature Dachshund figurine ornaments, each fitted with a burnished gold-toned metal top hanging loop. Rather than repeating a single coat color, the sculpts reflect the diversity of the breed across smooth, longhaired, and wirehaired textures in black-and-tan, chestnut-red, rich chocolate-brown, blonde cream, brown-and-white piebald, and silver-gray dapple patterns. Because Dachshunds sit close to the ground in winter weather, cozy knitwear anchors many of the daily reveals: a cream longhaired pup wears a white snowman sweater with black coal buttons, a carrot nose neck charm, a red scarf, and a holly-trimmed black top hat, while other figures appear in a navy-blue cable-knit sweater, a cream ribbed scarf, a pink beret with a flower accent, a burgundy bow tie, and a green-and-red elf hat.

Several miniatures capture the mischievous spirit of a doxie around Christmas decorations and treats. A chestnut-red Dachshund in a green fringed scarf carries a brown gingerbread man cookie in its mouth, another red-tan pup holds a red-and-white striped candy cane, and a longhaired black-and-tan figure sits wrapped in glowing multicolored holiday string lights with a red collar bow. Additional sculpted scenes include a cream puppy peeking out of a red snowflake-embroidered Christmas stocking, a black-and-tan Dachshund riding inside a red-and-gold Santa sleigh, a silver-gray dapple pup wearing reindeer antlers and a red nose, a chocolate Dachshund dressed in a tiered green Christmas tree costume topped with a gold star, and a sleepy dapple curled beneath a red-and-green tartan plaid blanket beside a tiny teddy bear.

Each freestanding base lets the figures rest upright on fireplace mantels, work desks, or bookshelves when not suspended from evergreen branches with red ribbons, and families building a warm character-filled tree can pair this box with the Winnie the Pooh Advent Calendar for a cheerful December display.
