Regina game days carry a energy all their own across the Canadian prairies, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders Advent Calendar brings that Green and White football tradition straight to a living room mantel, coffee table, or study shelf for December. Constructed from rigid paperboard with a full-wrap graphic finish, the upright collector box centers on the wheat-spike S shield above an illuminated night rendering of Mosaic Stadium framed by holiday evergreens and white snowflakes.

12 Named Player Figurines and 12 Rider Nation Charms

Unlike single-format calendars, this 24-day countdown pairs 12 freestanding 3D miniature player figurines on labeled black circular pedestals with 12 sculpted 3D team charms:

12 Freestanding Roughriders Player Figurines: Quarterback #1 Trevor Harris, running back #10 A.J. Ouellette, receivers #11 Samuel Emilius, #21 Kian Schaffer-Baker (#26) and KeeSean Johnson (#21), defensive playmakers #27 Rolan Milligan Jr., #2 Jameer Thurman, #3 Micah Johnson, #4 Tevaughn Campbell, #47 C.J. Reavis, kicker #57 Brett Lauther, and short-yardage quarterback #39 Tommy Stevens.
12 Sculpted Stadium & Fan Keepsake Charms: Beloved mascot #13 Gainer the Gopher giving a thumbs-up in honoring Rider Nation as the 13th Man, a miniature Mosaic Stadium bowl, a silver CFL championship trophy, a #13 Riders home jersey, a striped winter scarf, a pom-pom knit toque, receiver gloves, a football, a black cleat, a team pennant, a coach whistle, and a retro S crest.

Dual-Purpose Display for Tree Branches and Tabletops

Every piece in the 24-day assortment includes a top metal eyelet loop, while the 12 player figures also rest on flat circular bases printed with white nameplates. Families can stand the player lineup across a wood fireplace ledge or desk riser while hanging the championship trophy, Gainer the Gopher, and Mosaic Stadium charms directly on holiday evergreen branches.

For Western Canadian football households where divisional rivalries run deep all winter, pairing this Regina countdown with the Edmonton Elks advent calendar creates a two-province CFL display across the family room.

💡

What is the difference between the 12 player figurines and the 12 team charms inside the Saskatchewan Roughriders Advent Calendar?

Half of the 24 daily compartments contain freestanding 3D chibi player figurines mounted on flat black circular bases printed with player names, while the other 12 compartments hold sculpted 3D Rider Nation charms including Gainer the Gopher, Mosaic Stadium, the championship trophy, and team gear.

💡

Why does Gainer the Gopher wear number 13 in the charm set?

Both the Gainer the Gopher mascot figurine and the miniature green home jersey carry number 13 in tribute to Rider Nation serving as the official 13th Man at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

💡

Can the 24 Roughriders miniatures be hung on a Christmas tree as well as displayed on a flat tabletop?

Yes. All 24 collectibles include a top metal loop for hanging on Christmas tree branches or wreaths, and the 12 player figurines also have flat circular pedestals so they stand upright on shelves and desks.

💡

Which Saskatchewan Roughriders players are represented on the named circular bases?

The 12 named player bases represent #1 Harris, #10 Ouellette, #11 Emilius, #21 K. Johnson, #26 Schaffer-Baker, #27 Milligan Jr., #2 Thurman, #3 M. Johnson, #4 Campbell, #47 Reavis, #57 Lauther, and #39 Stevens.
