From the scarlet tunics of the Foot Guards on Whitehall to the quiet solemnity of the stone Cenotaph, British military heritage links generations through shared service values. The British Army Honour Advent Calendar 2026 brings that regimental legacy into December with 24 flat contour-cut acrylic hanging ornaments housed inside a hardcover-book style collector box. Framed in deep Rifle green, tartan trim, and gold heraldry, the front cover depicts a bearskin-capped Foot Guard standing before Big Ben and a “Lest We Forget” memorial wreathed in crimson poppies, accompanied by the core ethos printed along the upper right margin: Duty, Respect, Integrity, Courage, Together.

Ceremonial Pageantry & Modern Field Personnel
Opening each numbered daily compartment reveals a 24-piece tribute divided across personnel, remembrance symbols, and operational kit. Eight uniformed character ornaments represent the breadth of the service: a ceremonial Foot Guard in scarlet tunic and tall bearskin cap with rifle, a No. 2 Service Dress officer, a Foot Guard bugler, a ceremonial snare drummer, a Highland bagpiper in tartan kilt, a modern MTP-camouflage infantry soldier, a combat medic carrying a green first-aid kit, and a tactical helicopter aviator. Standing beside them are four personal kit and companion keepsakes—a German Shepherd military working dog in harness, a green commando beret with cap badge, a camouflaged combat helmet, and laced black leather combat boots.
Remembrance Symbols & Operational Field Gear
Six heraldic and memorial ornaments anchor the collection’s commemorative heart: a silver service medal on a red-white-and-blue ribbon, a single red Remembrance poppy with green leaf, a holly-and-berry wreath framing “Lest We Forget”, St Edward’s royal crown, a Union Jack shield, and a silver identification tag on a ball chain inscribed “Service, Courage, People, A Brighter Tomorrow.”
Rounding out the 24 days are six operational equipment and vehicle pieces: an open olive-drab marching compass, a field water canteen stamped “Strength in People”, a Union Jack tactical walkie-talkie radio, black field binoculars, an olive-drab Land Rover utility truck, and an Army utility helicopter. Each flat 2D acrylic ornament is cut with smooth transparent edges and a top eyelet so veterans and military families can hang the collection on a Christmas tree while displaying the rigid book-style box upright on a mantelpiece.
