24 Everyday Municipal Heroes: Build a Working Metropolis One Morning at a Time
For kids who run to the window every time the neighborhood garbage truck rumbles past or the mail van pulls up to the curb, the City Service Fleet Advent Calendar 2026 turns December into a 24-day municipal dispatch center. Housed inside a deep navy collector box illustrated with a bustling downtown highway, the calendar delivers 24 distinct free-wheeling city utility vehicles built with molded ABS bodies and die-cast metal parts.

Every compartment introduces a different public-works division with zero duplicate castings. The sanitation and environmental crew includes four green haulers—a City Clean rear-loader garbage truck, a municipal recycling truck stamped with the three-arrow emblem, a heavy compactor truck, and a Leaf Collection truck. Overhead and underground infrastructure are handled by a white City Sweeper equipped with a red rotary curb brush, two articulated aerial bucket boom trucks for streetlight work, a blue-and-white Water Service tanker, and a Sewer Service vacuum rig.
Public transit and winter weather response keep imaginary commuters moving through December snowstorms. Kids unbox a classic yellow School Bus, blue-and-white City Transit and Shuttle buses, and a highway pickup carrying orange traffic cones in its bed, alongside a three-truck winter road crew: a dump truck fitted with an angled orange front snowplow blade, an amber Salt Spreader, and a De-Icing Service tanker.
Postal Step-Vans, Heavy Wrecker Towing, and Parks Maintenance

The final eight doors round out the city with four delivery vans—a white postal van with a blue eagle emblem, a Parcel Delivery step-van, a Courier Express van, and a Mail Sorting Service truck—plus a red 24/7 Towing wrecker, a yellow Road Repair arrow-board truck, a green staked-bed Park Maintenance truck, and a Tree Service forestry truck.
